History

The series emerged naturally out of two conferences held in Graz in 2012 (organized by Sophie Frisch and her team) and in 2014 (organized by Alfred Geroldinger and his team). Since then, every second year (with one three year gap due to the COVID-19 pandemic), one installment was held. The main organizers alternated between Alfred Geroldinger and Sophie Frisch. With the 2027 conference, the series for the first time leaves its traditional home in Graz and will be organized in Ljubljana (with Daniel Smertnig as main organizer).
